Rationalism and irrationalism

Rationalism and irationalism are two ways of seeing the life, they're two ways of living, two ways of thinking.

Rationalists make conclusions based on a thorough examination of facts, and at the time of taking decisions, they consider all the actions they can do, rate them and decide what's the best course they could take, considering it in long and short term. A very rational people will follow the law because he fears the punishment (he considers that the bad effects on long term doesn't worth the reward at the moment they'll get). They may be thinking the effect that will affect them (imprisonment, capital punishment...) or the effect than can affect the society (chaos, anarchy...) or someone they know, but the main thing is that they don't do it because they have fear of the consequences. Racionalist are usually quiet people with a very planned life, don't like neither hard emotions nor changes,

On the other hand, there are the iracionalist, people who follow their inner wishes, without taking any other thing in consideration, they make their wishes their objectives, and they try yo accomplish their objective at any cost. They don't think about the repercussions that can make their acts when they are searching for their objective. This kind of people give a lot of importance to their first impression to something, if they have, for example, a teacher that they don't like, they won't like their subject anymore. When they follow something, they do because something says them that they should do that, not because they fear the consequences of their acts. They are people who change a lot at their lives, they are more practical than theorycal and they do quick decisions.

By comparing them, we can arrive to the statement that iracionalist make up their mind much quickly than racionalist, but they are far easier to manipulate, specially with subliminal messages. Irationalist are more confident than racionalist, because they haven't got as many doubts as they have. Finally, iracionalist are usually happier than racionalist because they think less. Finally, I must say that the majority of the people aren't just rationalist or irrationalist, they use to have rational or irrational answer in some conditions. In other words, I can be most of the time a rationalist, but when I get angry, I'm irrationalist, or when I go to a disco I am more irrationalist.

What kind of person are you? Do you think I'm right with my ideas? Is there anything I may add? If there is something you want to say, feel free to write a comment

The death of the politics

I want to speak about a person who could have done a wonderful work to reform the United States but he didn't. It's a very controversial person who gave me a lot of hope only to see how his project went down for, and this is important, not a political reason but a personal one. I'm talking, of course, of Bill Clinton.

During his term of office, he tried to reform the public health; but he couldn't as he had a lot of oposition in both the senate and the Congress. He also tried to improve the education and the economy, an obliterated economy as a result of the bad management of George Bush father during the Golf War and he looked forward to stop pollution. Althought he did a few internal reforms (that were thrown to the rubish during George W. Bush term), the best he did, in my opinion is the external politics. He tried to be not a world police but a dialogist. He didn't send troops where there were problems (or oil). Instead of that, he tried to get better relationships with the rest of the world in order to avoid further problems and wars.

But that was worthless. He tried to put the world in order but he couldn't, He didn't had the possibility, And for what? What was the reason for that he couldn't continue with his improvements? The reason of that is, according to me, the death of the politics and the beginning of the paparazzi Age. The arguments, the facts, the progress, the economy, the public services, the international relationsh; all of this are harmless weapons against the morbid fascination, the rumours. There's nothing to stop it, to make the people understand that even if the rumors are true (that they turned to be) it was an affair of Bill Clinton and Hillary. THAT WAS NOT A STATE PROBLEM, JUST A MATRIMONIAL ONE. But, there was nothing to do, The people wants rumors, not facts.

This is the story of how we could have had a better world if pollution and education were more important than personal bussiness. But we had bad luck. In the future, the electoral programmes will be all rumors of “bad things” the other people have done, and the serious press will become tabloid press. But this is the future that we, the humans, have chosen. I really want to be wrong, but the reality is this,

Autism

I've been a little hypochondriac with mental disorders lately, so while I was reading the book "The curious incident in the night-time" I get very interested in that "disease", which is not considered as the life spective of the people who suffer it doesn't vary.

While I was researching on the Internet, I discover a very good web site with really good stuff that was focused on autism. The webmaster says (We can't be sure of what the people on Internet say is real or not) that he's autistic himself.

The direction of the site is http://iautistic.com/

In a part of this site it speaks about the book that we're supposed to have read. He says that most information that is there about autism is actually false, and although it's a good book for literature, it's not a reliable material if you're looking for information about the autism.

The direction of this information is http://iautistic.com/autism-myths-the-curious-incident-of-the-dog-in-the-night-time.php

I hope that you enjoy that page. I also found some more information that is very interesting and some test.

If you have some more information about autism, please share it with me
